Not stock photos. Not perfect conditions. Real clients with real lives, busy weeks and no spare time — who got results anyway.
Before we started, Amy was, in her own words, a huge ball of anxiety. No way was she walking into a gym full of people she thought would judge her. She had zero confidence in her ability to do anything beyond the treadmill. She tried crash diets, not eating, home workouts. None of it stuck.
When she first came to me she was completely open about every single fear she had. So we started with baby steps. I'd meet her at her car and walk her in. I'd introduce her to people. Each week we'd add something new — a new machine, a new exercise — just enough to push without overwhelming.
Then came the free weights room. Her exact words: 'ABSOLUTELY NOT.'
She got in that room. It became her favourite part of the gym.
Along the way she had panic attacks mid-session. We dealt with them — her on the floor, legs up the wall, me sat next to her talking rubbish until she came back round. No drama. Just getting through it together.
She lost weight slowly — because she wasn't starving herself. She started loving food again. Each week she added a bit more weight to the bar. And somewhere in all of that, she went from someone who would do anything to not be seen in a gym to someone who walks in on her own, asks for help from strangers, and actually looks forward to going.
The gym went from something she feared to somewhere she feels safe.
Jack has Friedreich's ataxia. When we started, the aim was straightforward — build strength and keep him as mobile as possible, for as long as possible.
This video was filmed back in 2022, around 8 to 12 months into our work together. Jack's still training with me today — weekly sessions built around functional movement and cable work.
As the condition progressed, he set his sights higher and turned his training towards disabled strongman. In 2025 he entered a disabled strongman competition — and came third.
Same framework as everyone else on this page. Built completely around the person, not a perfect version of them.
Leaner, stronger, fitter and full of energy. Confidence went through the roof. This is what consistent work looks like — no perfect conditions needed.
Stronger, fitter and filling out shirts in the right places. Solid, consistent progress built around a real life — not a perfect one.
Before putting any client through it, I put myself through it. 2 to 3 months on an early version of the Real Life Results system. The results on this page are built on the same principles.
I can actually see muscle building, my diet is better, my water intake is better, I am less fatigued and I feel so much better in myself. Oh and my clothes fit better.
In just a month, I lost 3kg and an average of 3cm of body fat around my body. I felt horrible in myself — overweight, unfit and with no muscle. Not anymore.
My biggest struggle was anxiety about not knowing how to do certain exercises. I'd recommend this to anyone with a desire to better themselves and feel more comfortable inside and outside the gym.
I was just doing classes at the gym and had plateaued on my weight loss. I lacked consistency. Ant has given me the motivation and encouragement to improve my fitness and is always there with advice and support.
